Remember my office?

Well, as reported, I moved from my private sanctum into the mailroom. My new setup looks like this:

Not so bad, right? I mean, that’s a floor-to-ceiling window there on the left, and the bookcase blocks me off from everyone.

Yeeeeeeeeeeeah…. except for the rest of the room.

I work in THE MAILROOM NOW. With three other people. And here’s what seperates me from the Office Services Manager:

Yeah, a grey screen. Classy. Still, all this is tolearable… or at least it would be, if one of the other two people that work here were NOT currently blasting EASY LISTENING MUSIC OUT OF THE SPEAKERS ON THEIR COMPUTER. I mean, FOR FUCK’S SAKE. Who DOES this? Who plays loud music – audible music at all, really – in an office environment when there are other people who have to listen to it? I’d ask her to kill it, BUT SHE’S LEFT THE ROOM AND LEFT IT ON.

… Aaaaannnnnd now she’s just come back to the office and said, “Wow! It’s so loud!” before turning it down and apologizing for it, so my rant is completely ruined.

I hate it when my rants fizzle. I’m going to go find a security guard to flip off.
